Made reservation online and when we got here check in was very quick.Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable All the employees I spoke with were friendly and polite.Would definitely book here again
I stayed 4 nights for a training being held in the board room and the upkeep and management of this hotel is terrible. The shower curtain rod is falling off the wall and I had to rig up a system to get the curtain to stretch across the shower. There are holes in the bathroom door and the walls are peeling. The hotel is supposed to be 100% smoke free, but the elevators and hallways have a strong odor of both cigarettes and weed. The board room did not have the proper set up and the chairs had no padding. The breakfast area is clean, but the selections seemed like they came from a gas station convenience store. I would not recommend anyone to stay here at all.
Having worked in hotels/hospitality for the last several years, I don't even know where to begin. This was one of the nastiest and most rundown hotels I've ever stayed at. This is not what I'd expect of a Comfort Inn/Suites. I was greeted by a front desk agent that asked "Did you need something?" instead of a proper hello, as if I'd just interrupted her nap. The lobby smelled like weed and the elevator like stale cigarette smoke. I get to my room, and I'm greeted by dingy furnishings and lights that didn't really seem to light the room up. Attached are photos of what this hotel had to offer! PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE.
Horrible.. hotel is dirty. Upon arriving the front desk clerk was busy holding conversation on the phone and texting. Once we finally got our room key we went in and about 20 minutes later someone else open our door with their room key!! Anyway the bedding had spots and stain on it not very clean. The whole hotel need to be updated and painted. There were holes around the bathroom, chipping paint toilet paper holder had been pasted up a million times look like it. The air conditioner sounded like a loud jet all night but it was cold. You had to have your tv up really loud to be able to hear over the ac unit. It was nothing I liked about my stay besides it being close to the airport. I'd suggest you spend the extra dollars for a better hotel I definitely will next time. I couldn't wait for checkout we didn't even bother to go check the breakfast out , if the room wasn't clean breakfast room probably wasn't either
I wrote an earlier review about the poor service we received at the front desk and how they didn't answer the phone when we called down. I didnt think too much about it. I was calling because we our television wasn't picking up HBO. and GOT's 2nd to last episode was coming on but hey it was sad not tragic. But I forgot to factor in that when we returned to BWI we would need to call the front desk so the hotel shuttle would pick usGuess who still wasn't answering the phone when we returned? So 20 minutes of calling and another 55 minutes standing at the curb and I'm realizing what a huge pain in the behind the lousy service at this crappy hotel really is.Meanwhile the Hampton Inn shuttle and the Martiott van have been here twice. The shuttle never showed up. We had to call an uber.
It's downhill-- I mean a REAL race to the finish line towards disaster-- once you get into your room! Monster hair dryer ate my hair!!!! Ack!!!! Ever smell the horrible odor of hair burning? Hair dryer is missing the back cover. It blows hot air out the front-- as it sucks in huge swathes of hair from the back!!! OUCH!!! 3 chucks gone!!! I had to pull tangles out of the the fan! AND No internet! The nationwide customer lack of service put me on hold. Never picked up after 5 times. Front desk told me to keep trying later. We checked in at 8pm-- and it's 11:34pm. To be fair, the staff is really nice. But I still have no hair dryer-- no internet, the room smells like fried hair--and I got a new hair cut I didn't ask for!It's now 12:30am and the heat unit keeps waking me up every 5 min when the fan starts to blow...Day 2: STILL NO INTERNET! But I told housekeeping about the hazardous hair dryer and they got me a back cover.
Staff is friendly.Everything else is disastrous. This place is in a ghetto. Half the knobs are falling off the dresser. The bathroom door sticks, looks like someone kicked it at one time. The bathroom floor is dirty. The elevator floor is dirty. The bathroom stinks like bleach. They left practically empty toilet paper roll. Thank goodness there's one extra. The bedroom end table looks like someone barfed all over the side of it. The bathmat towel is threadbare. The directory is wrong about location of ice machines. A lot of channels don't come in on the TV. And there are sketchy characters. Prostitutes? There's a stinkbug in the room probably because there's no screens on windows. All in all poorly cleaned poorly maintained. Would not recommend. Especially for the price. Been here 2 hours and already heard sirens twice. One was 3 emergency vehicles across the street.
I don't Iike leaving negative reviews but this is the WORST customer service I've ever encountered. This is about a parking reservation I did for 7 days. First you get there you have to wait forever because they only have one person at the front desk. The hotel was supposed to provide transportation to the airport, had to take an Uber because the bus was taking forever. Third they charged me TWICE the wrong amount. Called to verify why I was being charged twice the lady said she was calling back SHE NEVER DID. My husband called MULTIPLE TIMES never got a response. Got back from my trip, took an Uber back because why waste my time calling them for the shuttle. Get there asked what was going on and the guy looked at me like I was making this shit up. Kind of rude at the beginning. He looked into it and of course found that in fact I was getting charged twice and the wrong amount because they charged me taxes TWICE. Gave me his card because he couldn't do it at the moment and said for sure he was going to fix it. It's been a WEEK and I haven't heard anything. No refund either. Just called back and the lady can't find anything under my name. I wonder if the staff is not trained properly but I've never had an issue like this. Their professionalism is non-existent. Now I have to call the credit card company to file a dispute and Choice Hotels because of their horrible service. Never again I will be visiting this place.

This was possible the worst hotel experience I have ever had! The staff seemed nice enough and check in was a breeze. When I got to my room it stunk of cigarettes and weed even though the building was supposed to be none smoking. However I assumed the smell was coming from the hallway since it was stronger in the hall. We go to bed immediately since we arrived around 11:00 p.m. only to wake up around 3 a.m. becuase I felt like I had been bitten. I examine myself in the mirror to find 6 bumps on my right arm and back. I immediately go to the front desk and inform them of the issue and the clerk suggest I am allergic to the detergent because they couldn't possibly have fleas or bed bugs. I was I had taken pictures of the sheets. They only options available were to change the sheets myself or change rooms. We changed rooms on the same floor and go to sleep. In the morning my daughter tells me she was freezing that because her bed did not have a comforter. Since we were already heading out. I informed the front desk when we got back that night that we needed a comforter and they informed me that they were out and would get me one in the morning. There was no manager on staff to handle my issues and I would have to wait til noon the following day to speak with him about my concern. I was not able to speak with a manager the following day since I again was out the entire day. Once I returned to the hotel the clerk at the front desk informed me that he could not leave at the present moment but her assured me he would call the hotel room around 11 p.m. so I could come down. Needless to say I never received the phone call or comforter. I am highly disappointed and I stayed 3 nights because I did not want to pay for another hotel because no one could reimburse my money. I have stayed within the hotel chain before and this was the worst. We stayed for 3 nights
Absolutely the worst. First I booked a double suite. They don't have any left. Whatever smaller room. It was dark and dirty. They just put up a new shower rod. Dirt in the tub on the edge and on the floor. Drains in tub and sink don't work you have to physically hold the tub drain open or else you're standing in water. Breakfast is not worth the trip downstairs. 10-15 minutes for coffee and you'd think we were asking for something hard. It's 930. Breakfast is till 10am on weekends. Really?!? Then they charged me for a second day?!? I checked out on Sunday. Unreal. Save your time and sanity go elsewhere. Not worth the time. Trust me.
Room was adequate. Carpet in Hall was grimy. No ac in halls or elevator. Did park and stay. At other end our flight arrived and we called for pick up. Night desk changed shift and so did driver it seems. Communication was poor. We and 5 others had to wait well over an hour for the "every 30 minute" shuttle. We won't stay here again. Marriot, Hilton and Weston/Sheraton has shuttle show up every 20 mins like clockwork. Don't do park and stay and can't recommend for lodgings either.
This place is a DUMP! Far below Comfort Inn standard. Public area dirty. Holes in the wall where the ice machine should be. Bad smell.
This hotel has potential. But they would probably charge more. I will say the employees were all nice and helpful. My disappointment was with the lack of upkeep in regards to maintenance of the hotel. There were many cracks in the wall...a trip to Home Depot would take care of that. The bathroom door of my room had tissue on it. The bathtub/shower area was dirty (pics posted). There was a plastic bag on the smoke detecter in my room which I am sure that is a hazard. The stopper to the sink was broken. There a whole under the AC/Heating unit ...another hazard. If you're staying for a night or two, you could probably tolerate this hotel.
if you want rude staff esp front desk clerk licia, dirty elevators and wreaking of smoke then do stay here!! or save yourself heartache and run pass it!!!! it doesnt deserve 1 star!!!!!retired disabled vet
found blood on comforter. when i requested a new one, i was given a duvet cover and a trash bag to put dirty quilt in. thats all. no other offer to acomidate. bathroom smelled like urine. coffee pot in room missing piece- unusable. someone spit out chewing tobaco in elevator and it was not cleaned up. this was a truly disgusting and unsanitary experience. i have photos
Stayed here a few days ago. Super close to the airport. Staff was accommodating and rooms were clean and were able to check me in early! 10/10 would stay again! Manager was very pleasant. Price was perfect!
Many reviewers give this place a mediocre rating, but I disagree. You have to manage your expectations with a cheap airport hotel, and, that being said, this exceeded mine. The service was great, and breakfast was unremarkable but good enough. The room was a little beat up-some poorly patched holes in the walls and the squishing of a centipede in one corner, but then again, I only paid 80 bucks for this place, so I'm not asking for the Westin. At this price point, I am sometimes prepared for the possibility of prostitutes in the parking lot and bullet holes in the walls, so I'll take a stray bug or two anytime. For 0 a night you can be free of the little indignities of this particular comfort inn, but I'd rather spend my 40 bucks on crabcakes.
You get what you pay for I guess. By far one of the worse front of house staff I have ever dealt with. When I asked for a copy of my bill the man told me no, that it was against policy. After a disagreement the girl next to him printed me a copy. My bathroom had blood or poop on the walls and my room was never cleaned. Plus whatever they spray the halls with was overpoweringly and nauseating. Needless to say I just checked out early.
I parked my car at this lot for a week. The instructions to receive a shuttle states to call the number listed to have the shuttle pick you up from the airport. Do not use this lot! When it's time for the shuttle to pick you up, they do not answer the phone at all. Leaving you stranded and cold waiting for a shuttle. I repeat do not use this parking lot. They claim that their phones don't work. Somehow someone answers after you call for 40 mins. It's ridiculous! They make you pay all that money for parking and don't pick you up.
